2026 League Updates

2026 League Updates.

We are modifying the structure of the league competition. Rather than a summer long tournament, we are splitting the season into 2 parts, allowing 4 different teams to have a shot at the top 3 payout. The season will be split into halves, with 8 league nights counting for the 1st and 2nd half. The top 2 teams who score the most points in each half are locked into the playoffs. The final 2 weeks will be used as the ‘playoff’ for the champion of league. You will then be seeded in a bracket format, with the #1 seed playing #4, and #2 playing #3, and then winners and losers playing the next week to determine payouts.

Important Dates:

Starting Date  05/05/26 & 05/07/26
End of the 1st half  06/23/26 & 06/25/26
End of the 2nd half  08/18/26 & 08/20/26
Round 1 of playoffs  08/25/26 & 08/27/26
Championship Round  09/02/26 (Wednesday night, combination of Tuesday & Thursday night league)

Rules & Other Notes:

If you clinch in the first half, you cannot clinch again in the 2nd. o For example, if Team 20 scores the most points in the 1st half AND the 2nd half, they will not take up 2 spots. The winners of the 2nd half would be the 2nd & 3rd place point scorers in that 2nd half (unless 2nd place already advanced in the 1st half)
You are seeded for the playoff based on your overall point total for the entire year. o Team 1 had 200 points YTD, Team 2 had 201 YTD, Team 2 would be the better seed.
Tiebreakers (for half winners, or overall seeding for the playoff) will be determined by the following: o 1st – Highest points night  Ex: T1 & T4 are tied for the 2nd spot in the first half. T1 highest point night is 22 points on 05.05.26, T4 highest point night is a 24 on 06.23.26. T4 wins the tiebreaker o 2nd – Highest worst score night  Ex: T5 & T6 are tied for the 2nd spot in the 2nd half. T6 scored 4 points on their worst night of league, T5 scored 3, T6 would advance since they had the ‘better’ worse night. o 3rd – Coin Flip ** if deciding winners for the half, only rounds within that half will be considered, if determining the playoffs, all rounds will be considered**
Points reset when making the playoffs. Handicap will still remain the same.
No make-up for rain outs. If the 1st half has only 4 matches, compared to 7 in the 2nd half, so be it.
