Rules

WCAC Meet @ Pleasantville GCC

• Hole 1- OB Behind the green / New Trees on right side please stay back (Free Relief)
• Hole 4- OB Left & Behind the green (Free relief from cart shed, move ball back not to the side)
• Hole 5- OB Left / If your tee ball is hit into the pond- drop where it went in, add penalty stroke and continue, Any other shot enters the pond- Play from drop area with 1 penalty stroke
• Hole 6- OB Left
• Hole 7- OB Left & Behind green
• Hole 9- Free relief from cart sheds
• Other Meet rules:
• 10 stroke max score
• Pick Clean Place (Not in bunkers)
• All OB will be played as a Lateral Hazard
• Lost ball in Play- Group Decision on placement of ball (drop in that area, take 1 penalty stroke, continue play)
• Bare ground- Group Decision on placement of ball (Find the nearest point of relief, no closer to hole) No Penalty Stroke

**Parent & Spectator Information

From the IGHSAU-**

• Spectator Regulations: Spectators cannot communicate with a golfer on the course until the golfer has submitted her official scorecard to the scoring officials. (Walking immediately alongside a player is deemed to be communication.)
• Spectators may cheer, applaud and offer words of encouragement to golfers; however spectators must adhere to golf etiquette when doing so.
• Spectators are allowed to assist a player in looking for a lost ball, but at no time provide any type of instruction.
• Spectators are asked to refrain from use of cell phones on the course but may use them in/around the clubhouse.
• Spectators disrupting play in the opinion of the Rules Committee will be removed from the course.
• Competitors may be disqualified if in violation of this rule.
• Spectators should remain in the rough or on the cart paths and always keep parallel to the golfers. Smoking and alcohol consumption are not allowed during IGHSAU sanctioned events. Please make sure the course management and spectators are made aware of this.
• Water/Food Distribution: The IGHSAU allows a parent/spectator to hand beverages/food to their player/daughter on the course, with every effort being made to be given between green and tee and without communication between them.

Communication with a player may result in a DQ. Please do not let this happen to your daughter. _ Parents & Spectator Help:_ ** Please help all kids in the group locate balls if needed, remember some of these girls are new to golf, make it a good day for them. ** Be aware of the group behind you! Please do not slow down play by being in the way of that group. ** Support and cheer for all members of the group!
