BELLE PLAINE COUNTRY CLUB RULES

HOLE #1 - On or over the road is O.B.; ditch is a lateral water hazard.

HOLE #2 - On or over the road is O.B.; ditch is a lateral water hazard.
Free relief from telephone poles or guide wires.
If your ball hits the telephone poles, wires, or guide wires you must accept the result.

HOLE #3 - White stakes on the right are O.B.; not the chain or wooden fence.

HOLE #4 - White stakes on the left to markers making a right angle to the clubhouse.
Practice green area is O.B.

HOLE #5 - An in-course O.B. is marked by white stakes on the left.
This line extends to the south of #7 green and runs to the field to the east.
Remember the O.B. on Hole #4 could come into play.
There are also white stakes up by the houses on the south end of the fairway.

HOLE #6 - White stakes to the east are O.B.; on or over the road just past the green is O.B.
White stakes mark behind the green at the road.
Any water to the east side of the fairway is played as a lateral water hazard.

HOLE #7 - No out of bounds should apply.

HOLE #8 - The white stakes used for HOLE #5 do not apply on this hole.
O.B. on HOLE #8 is the road behind the green and the area on the gravel and sheds.
If your ball is inbounds and on the north bank, you must play the ball as it lies.

HOLE #9 - Behind the cart shed to the west in O.B.
The cart path is considered ground under repair.
White stakes mark O.B. behind the green to the south.

Out of bounds is a stroke and distance penalty. Play a provisional if in doubt.
There is no free drop from any out-of-bounds markers or the roads.
If your ball is inbounds, a 1 stroke penalty must be taken to lay away.
The ball cannot be laid closer to the hole.
All water hazards are played as lateral hazards.
