Competition Format 9 Holes of Stroke Play - Low 4 of 6 Scores Count for Team Total 6 Players per Team 1/Approx. 6 Players per Team 2 - 2 Teams per School, Approx. 12 Players per School Team Ties - Determined by the low 5th score, 6th score, then #1 player score, etc. Individual Ties - Medalist - Determined by the use of Handicap Holes noted on the UGCC scorecards.

Live Scoring We will use the Kodiak Golf app for live scoring. All players need to be registered in the Kodiak app. One player in each group will enter scores for their group after EACH HOLE. Kodiak scores will be compared to official (hard copy) player scorecards and verified by coaches after completion of play.

General Information, Rules, and Local Rules: First Tee: Introduce yourselves, trade scorecards, and identify your golf balls. Scorecards: Please write the player’s score you are keeping track of, as well as all group member’s scores on the lower portion of the card. When the round is complete, players should come to the clubhouse and verify hole-by-hole scores with your group. When all scores are verified and signed by all players in the group, please turn in cards to your coach. Once a player signs her own scorecard, it is final. Follow USGA Rules of Golf. Play the ball as it lies, unless otherwise instructed prior to play. Golf Etiquette: -Please honor the game and your fellow competitors by playing with the highest level of integrity at all times. If you don’t know, ask and work together! -Please take great care of the course by fixing ball marks on greens, replacing divots, rake bunkers, etc. and leave the course BETTER than you found it! Play with great golf etiquette. Pace of Play: Please keep up with the group in front of you and play ready golf. Free relief from Ground Under Repair and Abnormal Course Conditions/Immovable Obstructions. Determine nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole, mark with a tee, drop within one club length no closer to the hole. (These areas should be marked, but if something isn’t, please come to group consensus.) Out of Bounds (white stakes): (#1, #3, #8) - Stroke and Distance – OB lines the perimeter of the course. Please hit a provisional if you think you may have gone OB. This will speed up play. No-Mow Areas/Local Rule: All no-mow areas should be played as a RED penalty area. Penalty Areas (red or yellow stakes): Play it as it lies OR take relief with a one stroke penalty. Yellow relief options: 1. Stroke and Distance. 2. Line of relief from pin back through where your ball entered penalty area. Drop on that line, no nearer the hole. Red relief options: Yellow relief options plus a third option: Drop within 2 club lengths no closer to the hole. Lost Ball - Stroke and Distance. Rules Questions: If rules questions are unresolved, please play 2 balls the remainder of the hole, record both scores, and circle on card. Coaches will discuss/consult with Pro Shop staff at the end of play. DO NOT SIGN SCORECARD BEFORE RESOLVED. Drop Areas: #2 - other side of creek, #7 - other side of creek, #8 long behind green, #9 - near green Maximum strokes per hole: 10 - Circle score on score card if you pick up your ball for a max 10. Players with a circle 10 will not be eligible for individual placing. Meet Results: Winning team, as well as Medalist and Runner-up Medalist will be announced by the host team coach at the end of the meet.

Specific Hole Notes: #1 - OB right (parking lot and cart shed). Trees/no mow straight is red penalty area. No mow along left side. OB along houses far right/behind green.

#2 - Woods all along right side of hole are played as a RED penalty area. Be aware of small pond on right side down by creek. Creek runs across hole near the 150 yard marker. DROP AREA on other side of creek. Woods to right/behind green is a red penalty area.

#3 - OB all along right side of hole and behind green. Small water hole on left side of cart path.

#4 - Small water hole along left side of hole.

#5 - No mow on left side near green.

#6 - Range is NOT OB. If you can find it, you can play it. Small no mow mounds along left and right sides of the fairway. Please hit a provisional here if you are unclear where your ball landed.

#7 - No mow left of tee box. Creek runs across in front of green. DROP AREA on other side of creek. No mow on left and right near green.

#8 - Woods along right off the tee are played as red penalty area. Further up right side, marked by white stakes/housing fenceline is OB. Cart shed area/gravel area on right side near the green is OB. Please hit a provisional if you are unclear where your ball landed. If ball goes on or beyond cart path behind green, please take a FREE drop in relief DROP AREA.

#9 - Play to LEFT GREEN. Tee off from the lower tee box. DROP AREA to the left of green.
