Hole Information
1 Out of bounds is left of the cart sheds, the parking lot, and the timber behind the hole. Straight south of the front edge of the cart sheds is a white stake that marks out of bounds to the left.
2 If ball is hit into #3 or #6 fairway, you may play from there, but allow teams on those holes to play through first.
3 If ball is hit into #2 fairway, allow the players on that hole to play through first. The tall grass left of the tee off is a hazard area... If your ball is found and playable, play it as lies with no penalty. If it is not found or is unplayable, 2 club lengths nearest relief, no closer to the hole. Take a 1-stroke penalty.
4 If ball is hit into #5 or #8 fairway, allow teams on those holes to play through first.
5 If ball is hit into #1 or #4 fairway, allow teams on those holes to play through first. If ball is in the mulch of small trees around green, take free relief, no closer to the hole
6 Out of bounds is the timber on the left side of the fairway. The grass area on the left side approx. 200 yards from the tee box and left of green, is hazard. If you find your ball you can play it as lies, if unable to find, take 2 club lengths from nearest point of relief, no closer to hole with a 1 stroke penalty. If ball is hit into #2 fairway, allow teams on those holes to play through first.
7 Out of bounds is the pasture on the left side of the hole marked by the fence line. Pond on the left is considered a water hazard. Tall grass and trees on the right are in play, and will be considered a hazard area…. If your ball is found, you can play it as lies with no penalty or take it as lost or unplayable, taking 2 club lengths nearest point of relief/entry point into hazard. Take 1 stroke penalty. Timber left and long of the green is out of bounds.
8 Timber and Creek Bed– to the left is considered a hazard and take 2 club lengths laterally with 1 stroke penalty if can not find. May play ball as lies if found with no penalty. If ball is hit into #4 fairway, allow teams on those holes to play through first. There are some dirt areas where machinery equipment has traveled, if the ball is on the bare dirt area near the hazard, this will be ground under repair and a free drop of one club length from the nearest point of relief..
9 Out of bounds is the tall grass left of the hole and white fence left of and behind the hole. Tall grass in front of the tee box is part of play. The bare dirt trail in front of the grassy area is ground under repair and a free drop one club length from the nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole.
Stroke and Distance will be played for all Out Of Bounds.
If a ball is lost in play, and the group agrees it is not OB or in a penalty area, consensus of the group will allow a drop in area ball should be and accessed a ONE stroke penalty. This does not include lost balls in the hazard areas explained above, those will follow the hazard area rules.
If there is a question in ruling during play, players should play 2 balls, record both and a determination will be made after the round by the rules committee (coaches) on the proper ruling and score.
** There are a few new mulch piles from trees that have been recently removed. Take free relief from these piles.
Current Conditions
Unfortunately there are some areas of the course that are under repair. They have added irrigation lines this last weekend on a couple holes and last fall they worked up and reseeded some other areas. There will be free relief from all of these areas and athletes should pull their ball out of the area, no closer to the hole and move to a spot free of ground under repair and the remnants resulting from. The reseeded areas are generally marked by roped off areas and some have mulch type mats covering the ground.
The irrigation lines are affecting Number 3 and Number 6 fairways.
There are reseeded areas around number 1 green, number 4 men’s tee box, in between number 2 and 6 greens in the tree area, down the right hand side of 6 fairway, and a couple other places throughout the course. There are some open places with small dirt mounds on the course around some of the irrigation heads. Free relief is granted from these.
