IHSSA, IGHSAU & USGA rules govern all play.
-The ball shall be played as it lies, except otherwise provided in the rules.
-If there are any questions on scoring or rules, play 2 balls and the coaches will make a decision when you return to the clubhouse.
-Girls use the Red tee markers.
-Replace divots

Lateral Hazard

Out of bounds: (Holes 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 )
ALL out of bounds penalties are STROKE and DISTANCE.
You must replay the next shot (after going out of bounds) from as near as possible the same spot of the original ball.
If on the tee, you may use a tee again or not.
When in doubt of out of bounds, ANNOUNCE your intentions and play a provisional ball (make an identifying mark different from the original ball).
Free one club-length drop from buildings(in bounds), benches, ball washers, sign posts or stakes(that can not be moved), trees with pipes around them, if they hinder stance or swing
π IGHSAU Player Code of Conduct
IGHSAU CODE OF CONDUCT:
The IGHSAU local rule governing code of conduct for players prescribes that a verbal warning shall be issued on
the first offense for conduct unbecoming high school players. Such conduct shall include, but is not limited to:
- β’ Club throwing or ball throwing defined as could cause harm to another participant, spectator, course or
- means of releasing frustration.
- β’ Use of abusive language.
- β’ Willful acts which damage property or equipment on the course.
- β’ Other unbecoming conduct as determined by the Golf Rules Committee (coachesβ jury).
Second offense: the player shall be assessed a two-stroke penalty.
Third offense: the player shall be disqualified.
π Spectator Information
Spectators are not to interfere in any way, should not have conversations with players, should keep their distance from the players, and have no influence on the results. If any interference occurs, spectators may be asked to leave.
Spectators will not be allowed to provide or assist golfers with distance information.
