Course Information

Brooklyn-Victor Country Club Information Sheet • Winter rules: 6” NO closer to the hole, roll the ball with your club, or mark with a tee and Pick, Clean and Place. (depending on conditions) • Tee markers: Blue-men’s and Red-women’s • Fairway yardage markers: Red-100 yds, White-150 yds, Blue-200 yds • Out of Bounds areas marked by white stakes, timber and fence lines • Greens: If there are dead spots or winter kill in your putting line, you make take free relief by placing the ball 12 inches left or right, no closer to the hole (consensus of the group if more distance is needed) • Mark your ball to easily distinguish it from others • Lost ball: consensus of the group • Cross fairway play: group playing hole has the right of way • Free relief from driveway or cart paths, 1 club length (or as much as necessary to get a good lie) along the flight path, no closer to the hole • Scorecards: One person in the group will fill out scorecard, another person in the group will enter scores into Kodiak. Scores must match but the scorecard is official. Fill the scorecard out on the next tee box with the whole group. ALL players must sign the scorecard after your last hole

Course play:

1. Trees along both sides of the fairway, must play out.
2. No hazards
3. No mow areas short right of tee box in front of 5 tee box and along right side of fairway closer to the green. You can choose to play out of these areas if you can get your club to the ball (you cannot roll or pick, clean and place in these areas). You can also choose an unplayable lie and place your ball outside of the no mow along the flight path NO closer to the hole, one stroke penalty. Out of bounds behind the green, marked by white stakes and timber
4. Out of bounds to the left of tee box in the woods
5. No mow area in front of tee box. You can hit out or play an unplayable lie (you cannot roll or pick, clean and place in these areas) If you choose an unplayable, take relief along the ball flight, NO closer to the hole, one stroke penalty.
6. Out of bounds behind the green marked by white stakes and the timber far left of green. Pond in front of the green is lateral hazard, use the drop zone painted short left of the green, one stroke penalty. Timber right of the fairway will play as lateral hazard, drop a ball along the flight path, one stroke penalty
7. Out of bounds marked by white stakes along the left side of fairway, (ditch is OB) also long behind the green over the fence.
8. Out of bounds over the fence along left side of fairway. Free relief from the driveway and grass strip next to fence, move ball back into play, NO closer to the hole. No mow area directly in front of tee box (refer to holes 3 & 5 on how to play)
9. Out of bounds over the fence along left side of fairway. Free relief from the driveway and grass strip next the fence, move the back back into play, NO closer to the hole. Out of bounds behind the green in the timber.
