- Will play whites tees on first nine holes; blue tees second nine
- Tee Assignments (available upon arrival)
AWARDS:
- Top 3 Teams will advance to Districts at Waverly
- Top 2 Individuals from non-qualifying team will advance to Districts
RANGE:
- Range balls are available at a cost of $20 per team payable to Independence Boyβs Golf
- Due to limited space, 3 players per team will hit at once and then rotate for the other 3 players to hit
- Location: Independence MHI at 2277 Iowa Ave

The ball will be played DOWN everywhere on the course
6 members from each team will be allowed to participate
Play 18 holes and score the top 4 individuals from each team
Local rules will be covered at the coaches meeting
π Hole by Hole
OUT OF BOUNDS:
- All out of bound penalties are STROKE and DISTANCE.
- You must replay the next shot (after going out of bounds) from as near as possible to the same spot as the original ball. If on the tee, re-tee.
- When in doubt, if out of bounds, ANNOUNCE your intentions and play a provisional ball (make an identifying mark different than the original ball).
WATER HAZARDS AND NO MOW:
Option 1: Drop second ball within two club lengths of the point of entry of the hazard, no nearer to the hole. One stroke penalty.
Option 2: Keep the point of entry into the hazard between you and the hole, dropping the ball in play, no nearer to the hole and as far back as desired. One stroke penalty.
Option 3: Re-hit the second ball from as near as possible to the same spot as the original shot. One stroke penalty.
HOLE-BY-HOLE PREVIEW:
Ponds & No Mow: All ponds & no mow areas are red penalty areas.
Stumps: Play as ground under repair. You have the option to play it as it lies or take free relief. If you choose to take relief, you drop your ball in a relief area within one club length of the nearest point of complete relief, not nearer the hole.
Hole 1/10: Road is out of bounds on left. Behind the green is a red penalty area.
Hole 2/11: White stakes out of bounds on left.
Hole 3/12: White stakes out of bounds on left.
Hole 4/13: Road is out of bounds on the left. White stakes out of bounds on right.
Hole 5/14: Road is out of bounds on the left & behind green.
Hole 6/15: Red stakes near golf cart sheds on the left and through the gully on left.
Hole 7/16: Behind green is red penalty area.
Hole 8/17:
Hole 9/18: Gully behind green is red penalty area.
π Food
Please do not bring food into Denali's on the River.
There will be grab and go options available for players and coaches to reserve in advance. This will be communicated via email to coaches.
Grab and Go options will also be available to spectators the day of the event.
Orders may also be placed off the menu or via the Toast App.
π Spectators
We encourage spectators to follow along on the course and support players. Following are some guidelines for spectators to know:
Spectators may not converse with the competitors until the final score card has been signed and submitted. Violation of this rule could result in penalty or disqualification of the golfer. Walking beside a player will be deemed as having a conversation with them. It's encouraged to keep a minimum of 10 yards between you and any competitor.
Applause and encouraging comments such as "nice putt" or "nice shot" are encouraged however spectators should adhere to golf etiquette when doing so.
Spectators should not provide any type of instruction or ruling.
Spectators may spot/search for a ball for players but are not allowed to touch the ball.
Golf carts may or may not be available for spectator rental. They will be available on first come basis. We encourage spectators to walk if they do not have any limitations of doing so.
Cell phones need to be on silent or vibrate while on the course.
Talking on cell phones should only occur when you will not distract or be heard by any golfer.
Phones are allowed to be used as a camera but we ask that a flash is not used during play.
No alcohol should be consumed on the golf course.
Any spectator disrupting play will be asked to leave the course.
