Out of bounds is marked by white stakes, timber and fence lines
Distance markers are red-100, white-150, blue 200 to center of the green
Tee markers are blue-men’s and red-women’s
Winter Rule “6”, make sure your ball is on a good surface to hit on, NO closer to the hole-may need more than 6” or Pick/Clean and Place
Greens – Greens are in great shape, if there is a bad spot on the green in your line of path, you may arc your ball out of the line of the bad spot, but no closer to the hole. Consensus of the group.
Know what ball you are hitting.
Play Consensus of the Group-Loss ball in fairway or possibility if someone else hits your ball. Drop and 1 stroke Penalty
#1 Trees/Tall Grass left of T Box- Early on may play out of it, if not play it as a lateral hazard for a one stroke penalty. If ball is hit into #3 or #8 fairway, you may play from there, lower # holes to play through first. Fenced off area to right of fairway and straw meshed area, DON’T HIT OUT OF IT. If your ball lands in there you can go pick it up. Free relief club lengths no closer to the hole.
#2 If ball is hit into #3 or #8 fairway, you may play from there, lower # holes to play through first. Some girls leave cart/clubs at top of hill. Please put to side by 3 T box. When walking back to 3 T box please walk on west side of fairway. Straw meshed area, DON’T HIT OUT OF IT. If your ball lands in there you can go pick it up. Free relief club lengths no closer to the hole.
#3 If ball is hit into #1 or #4 fairway, you may play from there, lower # hole to play through first. Out of bounds to right in trees and behind of green in the trees
#4 Out of Bounds – left of tee box. Tall Grass in front of tee box, Early on may play out of it, if you can’t play out of it play it as a lateral hazard. If ball is hit into #3 fairway, you may play from there, lower # hole to play through first.
#5 If ball is hit into #3 fairway, you may play from there, lower # hole to play through first. We will use the tee box behind and left of 4 green, watch for players teeing off 6 and approaching on 4 they may hit towards you. DON’T WALK ON NEW T BOX
#6 WILL be a Par 3 today for Girls. 145 yards to center of green. Tee off box on top of hill behind 4 green and to the left. Behind the green and pond is out of bounds. If you go into the pond right or into the trees left of the drainage ditch (there is an inlet tile tube) there will be a drop zone on the left side by drainage ditch. 1 stroke penalty.
#7 Out of Bounds – along the whole left side of fairway. If ball is hit into #6 fairway, you may play from there, lower # hole to play through first.
#8 Out of Bounds – along the whole left side of fairway, east side of fence. If ball is hit onto roadway-free relief, 2 club lengths no closer to the hole. Straw meshed area, DON’T HIT OUT OF IT. If your ball lands in there you can go pick it up. Free relief club lengths no closer to the hole. (This is by the green)
#9 Out of Bounds – along the whole left side of fairway, east side of fence and behind the green. If ball is hit onto roadway-free relief, 2 club lengths no closer to the hole. Straw meshed area, DON’T HIT OUT OF IT. If your ball lands in there you can go pick it up. Free relief club lengths no closer to the hole. (This is by the green)
Roadway coming in is inbounds. OB’s is on the fence. Free relief from the road, two club length and must be dropped from the knees. No penalty.
Any man made object – free relief, 1 club length no closer to the hole
Newly planted trees, some are staked, some have orange fencing around it, free relief two club lengths no closer to the hole.

SORECARDS –Each person will keep score of another person in their group. You also can keep your score on the same card you have on top. Get to your assigned hole and introduce each other and rotate your cards one person to the right. Don’t keep score of a person on your team. The hole highlighted in pink is the hole you start on.

After your 9 holes are completed, get together and confirm scores, sign all cards and turn them in.
Coaches when reporting in bound for girls make sure you make the par for today a 34 and NOT a 35 for girls and par will be 35 for the boys. It will mess with the averages. Boys will be a par 35.
